smells like spring
smells like spring

Walking through the forest of pines and bare trees trying to bud, on a carpet of decaying leaves and animal musk, the brisk air is heady, like wine.

The spot where the spring bubbles forth over the rocks and cascades into the falls is green, even in winter.
